With a customer base of several thousand, this dental health insurance provider needed a more agile, accessible platform for its customers to create unique, localised marketing material. Modern dental practices provide a broader range of services than ever before from general oral health to teeth whitening, straightening and other cosmetic procedures including botox. Our client, a UK based dental insurance provider, works with c.2,800 dental practices serving 1.7 million patients across the UK. Resourcebase was implemented to replace a platform that was inefficient, difficult to use and expensive to run. A primary stipulation was that the system had to be easy to use for end-users and system administrators. Practices have access to a range of templates for social media posts, leaflets, posters, adverts and appointment cards and pull up banners. Campaigns like National Smile Month and World Oral Health Day help practices produce focused material with a consistent look and feel. Each practice has a profile to hold logos and key data used to auto-populate fields in templates – this speeds up production and ensures accuracy. Practices with multiple sites are managed in this way. The previous system was linked to a print supplier so all material was routed to them. Resourcebase is more flexible with multiple output options. Practices can choose to print the item in-house, email the artwork to a local printer or use the in-built ordering option and have the collateral delivered to them.
